Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island Reviewed, we've covered our first meh episode and our first bad episode of the season. Will Scarlett Fever be able to pull the season out of the mud and back on the good streak again? Well, let's find out in this review!

My Favorite Parts: Jasmine and Shawn's first kiss, the island's revelation, Scarlett's revelation, Shawn bashing down the Chris McClean robots, Sugar taking down Scarlett, the double elimination at the end

Thoughts on the Characters (Good, Meh, Bad):

1. Sky: To no surprise to anyone, Sky is going in the MEH pile once again. She really didn't do that much in this episode, aside from thinking about Dave in the confessional and tagging along with Sugar. At the same time however, she didn't do anything to bother me in this episode. So, she's a meh.

2. Sugar: As usual, she was AWESOME. It was pretty hilarious when she "insulted" Sky, saying that she hasn't met someone who didn't care about her looks before. Haha! It was also pretty cute seeing her go "ga-ga" about the sprinkles in the beginning and it was awesome how she took down Scarlett and tied her up using her long red hair. Good going, Sugar! She's clearly a GREAT character and like Shawn said in the episode, I'd really like to meet her family!

3. Shawn: He was AMAZING in this episode. Like I said in my previous review, I really like how he's slowly conquering his fear of zombies and learning how to think with his heart. I also really liked how he's continuing to maintain a strong relationship with Jasmine, which I will get to soon. He also had some pretty funny lines here and there, such as "What happens in the pond stays in the pond..." He's still a GOOD character. Did I mention that he has some awesome moves?

4. Jasmine: Jasmine was enjoyable in this episode as well. As I stated in my previous reviews, I really like how she maintains a strong leadership role while maintaining a strong sweet side and a colorful personality. She also never goes too overboard with the leadership like Heather does. She prefers being the leader, but she still remains a likable person. Plus, her relationship with Shawn is simply adorable and it was really cute seeing her gush over him in the confessional. Jasmine is definitely a GOOD character.

5. Max: Max was pretty hilarious in this episode. Even though Scarlett clearly has an evil side, he still treats her as inferior and calls her "sidekick", which is pretty funny. It was also funny seeing him literally come up to one of the rocks and ask it whether or not it was the right one. Haha, nice job Max! I did feel some sympathy for him when he kept on getting electrocuted by the lock to the control room and it was hilarious seeing his reaction upon realizing Scarlett's true nature. It was also clever of him to outsmart Scarlett with the Chris robot and get her caught by the gang. Though I'm pretty sad that he got eliminated, he did have some really good moments and I think he went out at the right time. It was fun watching him while he lasted in the game. He's still a GOOD character.

6. Scarlett: I have to admit that up to this point, I really liked the build-up for this character. Even though she barely did anything in the beginning, she slowly began to open up with her intelligent side and along with that, her devious side was opening up as well. I wasn't too surprised that she would show off her true nature in this episode considering the build-up and that the title of this episode was in fact 'Scarlett Fever'. I really liked the revelation in this episode and her evil side was a lot of fun to watch. I mean, she's not only 'super genius' evil. She's 'I wanna take over the world' evil! Wow, you don't see people like that everyday, lol! I know I'm rambling on and on here, but my point is that I really liked watching her evil side and even though I'm a bit sad that she got eliminated, it was really fun while she lasted and I'll never forget all the great moments she had throughout the season.

Interactions:

1. Scarlett and Max: Haha, same old, same old! As I mentioned above, it was really funny seeing Max suck his thumb in the confessional when figuring out Scarlett's true nature. Looks like there's not much hope for them actually hooking up, especially considering how they hate each other so much! It was funny watching Max treat her as inferior and then Scarlett complaining about being booted off with him. It was also clever of Max to outsmart Scarlett like that with the Chrisbot. Haha, I'm gonna miss these two!

2. Jasmine and Shawn: They were really cute in this episode. I really liked the part when they had their first kiss ever! In addition, I really like how they're always there to support each other. Shawn, despite his insecurities and paranoia, is always willing to do what it takes to keep Jasmine safe and make her happy. And he does that really well in this episode. In addition, Jasmine is also doing a pretty good job accepting Shawn for who he is and she actually realizes that she has good taste in men after all by picking Shawn! All I can say is...good choice Jasmine! I can't wait to see what will happen with this relationship next!

3. Sugar and Sky: Not too much to say about these two, but Sugar did have some pretty funny moments with her. I liked that little insult Sugar made to Sky at the beginning of the episode and how she mentioned Team Sugar. Haha, Team Sugar all the way! I also liked how Sky complimented Sugar's positive attitude in the confessional. It's gonna be pretty interesting where this interaction goes...

Challenge: I really liked the challenge in this episode. I thought it was a HUGE improvement, compared to the last challenge, and I thought it was pretty unique how they actually had to stop the island from getting destroyed this time around. I was worried that they were going to destroy this island much like they destroyed Camp Wawanakwa, but thank heavens that they did not (I have a feeling that it will happen sometime in the future though...). But, I thought it was very entertaining and I think it was one of the first times in Total Drama history that the main goal was to stop a contestant from doing an evil deed.

Elimination: Though I'm pretty bummed out that Max and Scarlett both got the boot, in all honesty, I think they both went out at the right time and they had satisfying runs this season. It was pretty hilarious how they got booted together though, lol.

Overall Episode Ranking (Good, Meh, Bad): Does this episode make me want to run away from Pahkitew Island forever? No, of course not! This is a PHENOMENAL episode and dare I say, the best episode in the season and it could even go toe-to-toe with some of the better episodes of the series. That is how good this episode is. Even though the idea of an artificial island with robotic monsters and zombies seems very unrealistic, especially for a reality show parody, I have to admit that there are some really good stuff in this. As I mentioned above, the challenge was very unique. In addition, the interactions and character developments of all the characters are very well done here and the elimination was pretty satisfying. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this episode. This is a really good episode! 3 more episodes to go! Almost there!!!
